Men around the world are slowly discovering the fun of gel nail polish. Trend watchers may already have noticed a few fashion forward male celebrities sporting gel nail polish occasionally for a few years already. But specially now gel manicure.
Brad Pitt showed up at the Palm Springs Film Festival flashing some seriously colorful nail polish. It’s not that I’ve never seen painted nails before. Sure, on the earlier mentioned ’90s emo kid, on rockers, and on, umm, Zac Efron. But could this look be hitting the mainstream? The trend sure seems to be picking up steam, Seals is one of the celebrity who embraced the most.

I have seeing loads of men in Europe gripping their briefcases with nails done in gel nail polish to match their ties… yet. But elaborate shellac nails art is becoming a thing in Japan according to website Japan Today. They recently did a feature on this surprising trend and interviewed several men who claim that their glammed up gel nails have helped them succeed in the corporate world.
Here are some celebrities already on the trend; so I decide to try it myself. I used Miracle Gel from Sally Hansen and I really happy with the results and how comfortable I was with this trends and the feedback I received was very positive. Already are brands that are only for men already available in the market. Some people say about my nails “looks like you take care of your hands and your appearance”.
