Leonardo D’Almagro was chosen by HSN to be featured on their Artisan Show.
Leading entertainment and lifestyle retailer, HSN, and Dreamers Ventures have selected five entrepreneurs to launch on HSN as part of the Project American Dreams initiative.
Project American Dreams, a subset of HSN’s American Dreams program to cultivate entrepreneurs and introduce new products to market, launched last fall during Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating Latino/a entrepreneurship while elevating one of the fastest growing segments of entrepreneurs in the United States. As part of Project American Dreams, HSN teamed up with award-winning entrepreneur and Dreamers Ventures creator Liliana “Lili” Gil Valletta and Bob Circosta, “TV’s Billion Dollar Man,” to search for new and exciting products to launch on HSN.
The five finalists were for the opportunity to launch their products on HSN and reach a national audience. Coming from across the United States, Canada and Spain, a select group of 18 semifinalists were invited to pitch at the HSN studios to a panel of expert judges this past January 24, resulting in the selection of the top five winners.
“Since the inception of HSN’s American Dreams initiative, we have received more than 5,000 product submissions and featured 125 entrepreneurs across HSN’s platforms,” noted Bill Brand, President, HSN. “We are thrilled to extend our search to Latinos through Project American Dreams, and look forward to highlighting their stories and introducing their products to market.”
The selected Project American Dreams top five winners are: Hipatia López, Juan Luis Pedro Sánchez, Frances Prado, Victoria Flores & James and Kathryn Smith.
The judges were so impressed by the creativity and talent of the semifinalists that a second show is expected to air in the summer to spotlight an additional group of four Latino fashion and jewelry designers during an artisan show special. These include Daniela Millan’s Daniela Millan Designs Jewelry, Carlos Marrero’s Marrero Collection Scarves & Tunic, Francesca Kennedy’s one-of-a-kind IX-Style Mayan Handbags and Leonardo D’Almagro’s Leonardo D’Almagro Jewelry.

Based in Austin,Texas, Jewelry Designer Leonardo D’Almagro is a new face in the jewelry world, but he has hit the ground running. He has already received several major accolades. He was the only USA Hispanic designer ever to launch a new brand at Vicenzaoro, the most important jewelry show in the world.
Additionally, in 2016 he was the only Hispanic U.S. jewelry designer selected to present a line at Vicenzaoro and Vincenza Dubai. Held in Italy, they are the most important international jewelry trade shows in the world. His collection marked the first time that a Hispanic designer from the U.S. was invited to present a jewelry line at these prestigious events.
And Leonardo did not skip Paris Fashion Week: His line was used to accessorize Binzario Couture.
His brand is becoming increasingly well known; the Miss Mexico Organization has chosen him as an official designer. His jewelry will be used by the official Miss Mexico and Mr. Mexico in all of their pageants at all international events. Miss Mexico, Ana Girault, who represented her country recently at Miss Universe very often, wears Leonardo’s designs.
In addition, Leonardo received recognition by the 2015-2016 Daytime Emmy Awards as a Fashion Editor for his contributions to “Superlatina with Gabriela Natale.” Many celebrities have accessorized their elegant styles with the Leonardo D’Almagro Jewelry Line. These well-known figures include the aforementioned Gabriela Natale, who wore his jewelry when she received her first Emmy.
Reality TV celebrities LeeAnne Locken and Tiffany Hendra from “The Real Housewives of Dallas” frequently wear Leonardo’s jewelry. Two other fans of Leonardo’s jewelry are American TV host Hillary Kennedy and celebrity fashion stylist and TV host Jeannette Chivvis.
Miss Venezuela International, Amal Nemer, wore his jewelry during the Miss International contest, where she won the title of Miss South America International 2016.
Drawing on their complementary backgrounds, he is working with Barbara Palacios for the aptly named Barbara Palacios Inspirations by Leonardo D’almagro jewelry collection.
However, to quote Mr. D’Almagro, “I am so honored to be working with HSN. I feel that this is an opportunity that few people receive, and I am extremely grateful that they have shown faith in me.”
