Job Summary

The Overseas Production Manager is a Mexico based position responsible for managing sourcing, pricing, technical project management, vendor management on all of Leonardo D’Almagro’s overseas accounts. The ideal candidate must bilingual English-Spanish, project management skill and first-hand experience managing manufacturing overseas.

Job Description

Manage the fabrication of furniture, jewelry, accessories, clothing and components at overseas factories. Oversee pricing, budgets, project profitability reporting and quality control documentation. Coordinate product design and engineering improvements with vendors. Manage project production schedule from start to completion. Implement Leonardo D’Almagro’s Policies, Procedures and Quality Control standards with overseas vendors. Implement Leonardo D’Almagro’s Sustainability standards with overseas vendors. Develop new vendor relationships, production capabilities and increase outsources volume. Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager, Account Managers, Project Managers, and Designers. Create, analyze and report on KPIs for production performance. Manage and coordinate with Leonardo D’Almagro’s overseas personnel.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor or master’s degree with high marks in a relevant field5-10 Years’ experience in overseas manufacturing Furniture, Clothing design engineering experience required. Experience in CAD and reading drawings required (3D programs a plus). Project management and logistics certifications a plus Travel to Central America and South America is required.
